I was born in good old Los Angeles, and aside from college in Oregon (go ducks!)
and New York (go museums!) have lived here my whole life. That doesn't mean I don't
love to travel. And it doesn't mean I don't have fantasies of someday living in
london
or new york
or DC
Here are my retirement requirements. The city must have great museums, symphony, and must be a walking city.
I don't mind driving, but I prefer to walk. I'm also passionate about health. I believe my body is precious and I
do everything I can to take care of it, including daily (almost, let's be honest) yoga, laughter, spiritual
practice, close friends and macrobiotic/ vegan diet. I've been vegitarian since high school, and became vegan in 1980.
And it's only been the past few years that I started learning about macrobiotics. I had been to macrobiotic restuarants
before, and always loved the food, and felt great afterwar, but didn't understand why. Now after reading a few books
and eating a macrobiotic diet regularly, it has helped me tremendously.
I've even taken some macrobiotic cooking classes.
